Welcome
The Village of Dryden Police Department is a proactive department. We are highly involved in the community, and follow a community policing approach. We have an open door policy and welcome any community member to come in anytime with concerns or questions.
The Police Department has an officer on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Village residents requiring police assistance for an emergency should always call 9-1-1, but for non-emergency reports you may call (607) 844-8118. This line rolls over to Tompkins County 911 Center after hours to ensure an officer receives your call.
House Watch
The Police Department realizes many people travel. To request a property check during your travel you can call or stop into our Administrative Offices at the Village Hall during regular business hours to be placed on the property check list. In instances of temporary or prolonged absences, the police department will conduct regular inspections of your property to ensure its safety. Providing the required information to the police only takes a few minutes, but it could prevent distress when you come back.
